Anders Miolin Guitar Music

Anders Miolin, Sweden: One of the most innovative, creative and exiting classical performers in the world of music today. He was born in Stockholm (Sweden) and was admitted to the Royal Danish Academy of Music at the unusally early age of 15. His studies in Copenhagen, Malmö and Basel were finished with four diplomas, two of which were soloist diplomas. Anders Miolin has recived a number of renowned national and international prizes an awards, among others from the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm and the distinuished Danish Sonning Foundation, whose prize is awarded to only Swedisch musician each year. He has also won 1st prizes at the international guitar competitions in Finland, Italy and Martinique. He has, with his very profiled repertoire and unique instruments, established himself as a featured soloist of highest order on the international circuit. His concerts and recordings for the renowned label BIS constantly receive outstanding reviews in the most prestigious newspapers and music magazines all over the world. Anders Miolin is professor at Hochschule Musik und Theater in Zurich (Switzerland), where he teaches guitarists from many different countries.
